Colin Noon

General Manager

Colin Noon -- General Manager

Colin joined Caledonian Bottlers PLC in October 2012 and has over 25 years’ experience in the Drinks Industry having held previous roles at Scottish & Newcastle PLC and William Grant & Sons Ltd.  He left school at 16 and completed a four year apprenticeship before rising through the ranks in a variety of Engineering and Production roles prior to completing an MBA in 2007.  He has extensive knowledge of Packaging, Engineering and Supply Chain Operations having worked with some leading Global Brands throughout his career. Colin is responsible for leading the team at Caledonian Bottlers and delivering growth by working closely with new and existing customers.

Sharon King

Operations Support Manager

Sharon King

Sharon started her career at Cumnock Knitwear where she worked in the Production team for eight years before leaving to work as PA/Manager with Freddie Williams at his local Bookmaker shops.  In 2002 she joined him at Caledonian Bottlers again as PA/Manager.  She went on to gain robust knowledge of all bottling procedures and processes and in 2009 was promoted to her current role of Operations Support Manager. She is responsible for HR, Finance, staff training and development requirements and working with department Managers to ensure the development of all members of their teams. Since 2012 Sharon has gained CIPD qualifications in both L&D and HR.

Robert Millar

Engineering Manager

Robert Millar

Robert (Bobby) has over 30 years experience in the manufacturing industry. Bobby started as an apprentice engineer at Cumnock Knitwear where he worked for 22 years. He joined Caledonian Bottlers in September 2000 and is responsible for all engineering activities and general building maintenance on site ensuring all projects run on time and within budget. He has extensive knowledge of installation, maintenance and repair within the plant. He leads a small team of engineers making sure that all tasks are completed efficiently. The team ethos is high attention to detail and a practical approach to problem solving to ensure smooth running.

Lauchlan Millar

Raw Materials, Warehouse & Planning Manager

Lauchlan Millar

Lauchlan joined Caledonian Bottlers in June 2004 with ten successful years’ experience in the Drinks industry having previously worked with Glen Catrine Bonded Warehouse. He brings experience of stock control, alcohol accounting and warehouse management to his current role where he is responsible for the maximum utilisation of production capabilities through best planning and raw material awareness. Lauchlan controls all aspects of Planning and Raw Material availability, liaising directly with each customer. He manages all logistical operations on site with his team of seven warehouse operators who have over 75 years of experience within the department. He also oversees all waste recycling on site ensuring Caledonian Bottlers’ resource and waste potential are optimised fully.

Alasdair Ferguson

QSE Manager

Alasdair Ferguson

Alasdair Ferguson has 14 years of experience in the Production & Manufacturing environment in both the Toiletries and Food industry. Alasdair’s career began with Arran Aromatics where he held roles various roles in New Product Development and Quality Assurance. Alasdair joined Caledonian Bottlers in July 2010 in his current role as QSE Manager. Alasdair is responsible for Quality, Health & Safety as well as overseeing production in the Syrup Room, ensuring that all production, both liquid and packaging, meets the high standards set by Caledonian Bottlers to each customer’s individual specification. Alasdair also oversees the HACCP Team and has responsibility for the annual BRC Food Safety audit.

Karen Mennie

Production Manager

Karen Mennie

Karen took up her role as Production Manager at Caledonian Bottlers in September 2009 coming from Highland Spring Ltd. She has 28 years of experience within the Food and Drink sector with experience both in Production and Quality roles. Karen started her career on a production line and quickly worked her way up through the ranks. She is responsible for ensuring the high standards and volumes required in production and this is delivered by her dedicated Team Leaders and their highly trained team members at Caledonian Bottlers.

 

Navpreet Sidhu

Quality Improvement Manager

Navpreet

With previous experience in the dairy industry, Navpreet joined the team in 2014, to focus on Quality Improvement and the introduction of new products. Along with Nav’s experience as a Dairy Technologist, she brings to the existing team, a Masters in Food Science and Microbiology and aims to utilize her knowledge and experience to establish a new micro lab at the site. Nav is passionate about excelling in quality and is responsible for implementing and maintaining quality compliance from a liquid hygiene aspect. Nav is also involved in supporting NPD with the SHS Group Drinks Division.
